Why it’s on the Red Carpet
HBSO’s first production of Madama Butterfly, with an international guest tenor and conductor, performed on only two nights for its anniversary.
Puccini’s Madama Butterfly in a concert version in two acts, marking HBSO’s 33rd anniversary and its first production of this opera. Pham Khanh Ngoc sings Cio-Cio-San, Italian tenor Marco Miglietta is Pinkerton, and Dao Mac is Sharpless, with conductor Roberto Fiore and the HBSO orchestra and chorus. Two performances only, September 11 and 12, 20:00–22:00. Listed ticket tiers are 800,000, 950,000 and 1,100,000 VND.
